Reviews
This review is specifically for the toro here. I saw that they sold this 0.205 lbs of toro for $13 so I had to try it. Considering that at sushi restaurant 2 pieces of toro nigiri would be $20+, this is an absolute steal. This is sushi grade meaning you can eat it right away, no need to clean it. I ate it with some rice and it was amazing. I was skeptical at first though because I never ate sashimi from a supermarket. Tasted exactly the same like the ones in the restaurant. Definitely coming back whenever im craving toro.
Small Japanese grocery store. They sell appliances along with small selection of produce. They have a variety of already made sushi and a few hot foods. The sushi quality is way better than Tokyo Central. It is a bit pricier by $2 or so. But the quality is way better. Highly recommend this place if you're looking to get a more authentic sushi selection. All the workers are very nice. Located in the In & Out plaza. Plenty of parking spaces. I don't think they have public restrooms for customers to use but I'm not totally sure.
This was my first time coming here! I have to get things for my Japanese New Year Celebrations and was looking for all the traditional foods! I was not disappointed! Everything I needed was here and what I couldn't find myself I was directed to Kiyomi and she knew exactly where everything was!
Food: 5* Service: 5* Ambiance: 4* Great grocery store carrying Japanese products. They also have a large selection of Japanese convenience store (convini) items. Great sushi and sashimi offerings, hot and cold. Think okonomiyaki and onigiri and much more. Like a local Japanese Lawson's or 7-11. I will return.
Lovely Japanese store with lots of selections. I went two days in a row. One to purchase their sushi specials and the other to purchase snacks, sake and other assorted goods. Will definitely be coming back.
